What pain and injuries can you help with?

The most common issues we see in clinic are neck pain, mid back pain, low back pain and shoulder pain.

We treat acute conditions that are very painful often characterised as sharp, shooting pain which is often caused by a compressed nerve.

We treat chronic issues that have been problematic for years that are impacting the patient's quality of life. The symptoms of chronic issues tend to be less sharp and more dull, achey and throbbing pain.

Often pains and injuries will be aggravated by certain movements or activities. These include but not limited to:
- working at a desk for long hours

- turning while sleeping

- bending forward to put on shoes

- turning your head to one side (looking over shoulder)

- lifting your arm above your head

What can I expect out of my first session?

Your first session includes:

A comprehensive assessment of your pain, medical history, posture, and movement patterns

A clear explanation of what’s causing your symptoms in easy-to-understand terms

Hands-on treatment using manual therapy tailored to your needs (joint work, deep tissue techniques, dry needling, etc.)

A personalised plan outlining how many sessions you may need and what you can do between visits to speed up your recovery.

You’ll walk out knowing exactly what’s going on and how to get back to feeling your best.

What do I need to bring to my first session?

Just wear or bring comfortable, flexible clothing that allows you to move easily during the assessment. If you have any MRI, X-ray, or medical reports, please bring them along—they help us understand your condition faster and tailor your treatment more accurately.

Will you be able to improve my posture?

Will you be able to improve my posture?
Yes. Your posture is influenced by joint mobility, muscle balance, daily habits, and workstation setup. During treatment we address each of these

Manual therapy to release tension and improve alignment

Targeted exercises to support better posture

Personalised advice to help you maintain healthier habits at your desk and throughout the day. Most clients notice improvements in how they sit, stand, and move within just a few sessions.

What kind of results can I expect?

What kind of results can I expect?
Results vary depending on your condition, but the vast majority clients experience:

Less pain and tension in the affected areas

Improved mobility and flexibility

Better posture and body awareness

Clear understanding of what’s causing the issue and how to prevent it from returning

We’ll outline a personalised treatment plan so you know exactly what to expect and how long your recovery is likely to take.

How long until I see results?

The timeline depends on the condition, but most clients experience early changes within the first 1–2 sessions. For more established problems—like chronic desk-related pain, stiffness, or old injuries—significant improvements usually take 6+ sessions.

We’ll outline a clear plan so you always know what to expect.

How does osteopathy actually work?

Osteopathy looks at how your whole body functions—not just the painful area. During treatment we use techniques that:

Improve joint mobility

Release tight muscles

Restore healthy movement patterns

Support better circulation and tissue healing.

By treating the underlying cause—not just the symptoms—we help your body return to a more balanced, pain-free state.

How will this be different from going to a physio or chiropractor?

All three professions can help you recover, but osteopathy blends hands-on treatment with a big-picture view of how your posture, lifestyle, and daily habits affect your body. Physios tend to emphasise exercise rehabilitation, and chiropractors often focus on spinal manipulation. Osteopathy sits in the middle: hands-on treatment plus practical guidance to help you move and feel better quickly.
